I built a database and web application around Travis County’s public voter-registration and election-history files. Campaign researchers could search records, inspect voting history, build lists, draw organizing areas on a map, and export CSVs.

My work covered file ingestion, geocoding, record matching, and the search interface. I used Python, Go, Flask, PostgreSQL, and SQLite across the project, including SQLAlchemy filters and handwritten SQL for similarity ranking. I also replaced hardcoded election rules with mappings that could accommodate new county files.

This is a historical project; the portfolio does not expose voter records or a live search service.
